As Big Tech’s censorship of conservatives becomes ever more flagrant and overt, the old arguments about protecting the sanctity of the modern public square are now invalid. Our right to freely engage in public discourse through speech is under sustained attack, necessitating a vigorous defense against the major social media and internet platforms.

From “shadowbans” on Facebook and Twitter, to demonetization of YouTube videos, to pulled ads for Republican candidates at the critical junctures of election campaigns, the list of violations against the online practices and speech of conservatives is long.

I certainly had my suspicions confirmed when Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, “accidentally” censored a post I made regarding the Jussie Smollett hoax, which consequently led to me hearing from hundreds of my followers about how they've been having problems seeing, liking or being able to interact with my posts. Many of them even claimed that they've had to repeatedly refollow me, as Instagram keeps unfollowing me on their accounts.

For many years Amazon has allowed free speech to flourish on its site. Jeff Bezos, its billionaire CEO, has now pretty much cornered the market on book sales.

Some people refuse to use Amazon due to the fact Bezos is aligned with the CIA and the Deep State.

Amazon has become a monopoly and not just for book sales. Yet now they’re starting to clamp down on books not popular with the left.

A man named Roosh published books on the subject of picking up girls. His books were very offensive to feminists, so Amazon banned them. So much for Roosh’s free speech and his ability to make money through book sales. Likewise for Jared Taylor. His crime? He is a race realist who does not bow to political correctness. The Southern Poverty Law Center, arguably a hate group itself, condemned him for ‘hate speech.’

Tommy Robinson’s crime? He pointed out the fact that many Muslims in Great Britain were part of rape gangs. Facts were on Tommy’s side, but he was accused of committing hate speech in Britain and so Amazon went along and banned him. Nowadays, anyone who criticizes the behavior of some Muslims is instantly accused of “Islamophobia,” or hate speech. Other authors, who depend on book sales via Amazon, were also banned without explanation.

I expect Silicon Valley and Amazon to ramp up their blatant and shameful censorship of conservatives as the 2020 presidential election approaches.

They know Hillary lost because she was unable to control minds. People had freedom of speech on the Internet and were able to figure her out for what she was—a lying criminal doing the bidding of the Deep State cabal. If they can’t control people, they will censor what those people were reading and listening to—conservatives.

Shame on you for violating the First Amendment, Bezos. You’re a real Bozo.

    Full Story:
mazon CEO Jeff Bezos is scheduled to meet with federal prosecutors in New York as soon as this week, according to people familiar with the matter. The meeting signals that the US attorney's office is escalating its inquiry connected to Bezos's suggestion that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia was behind a National Enquirer story that exposed his extramarital affair and his claim that the tabloid attempted to extort him.

Plans for that meeting come as prosecutors in the Southern District of New York are seeking to obtain access to Bezos's electronic devices, these people said. They are attempting to examine Bezos's private investigators' allegation that the Saudis "gained private information" from his phone, and that such information wound up in the hands of American Media Inc. tabloid the National Enquirer, which published Bezos's texts.

Attorneys for Bezos, the world's richest man, have been engaged in negotiations regarding his electronics. In recent weeks, Bezos's attorneys and investigators turned over to federal authorities documents and other material from their own inquiry, but not his devices, these people said.

Bezos has suggested he became a target of the Saudis due to his ownership of The Washington Post and its coverage of the murder of its columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

Amid these developments, Bezos has expanded his legal team, adding attorney Matthew Schwartz, a partner at law firm Boies Schiller Flexner LLP who spent a decade as a federal prosecutor in New York, the people familiar with the matter said.

Schwartz didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokeswoman for the US attorney's office declined to comment. A spokesman for the FBI declined to comment.

It's not clear whether federal prosecutors have independent evidence to corroborate the claim that the Saudis hacked Bezos's phone or had any connection to the National Enquirer's story on his affair.
