More Meat and More Meetings on the Menu Cartoon published 08/16/2025 When I drew this cartoon it was unclear how effective Trump’s Alaskan peace summit with Putin actually was. Another peace meeting in the future might be seen as progress, but Putin might be utilizing a ‘string then along strategy’ while he continues to grind toward total victory in Ukraine. Trump may know how to make deals, but Putin is a grandmaster geopolitical chess player and a complete Russian takeover of Ukraine might be the legacy he’s determined to establish. Update August 16th: President Trump comments on the meeting and said no ceasefires as that can be broken, he wants to go directly to a peace agreement. Zelensky will travel to Washington DC and meet with President Trump on Monday, August 18. There is meat on that bun. There has been much talk about President Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize—especially if he achieves peace between Ukraine and Russia. This is silly and Trump should ignore such talk. Obama got the Prize without any merit whatsoever. The Prize is meaningless. Still, when he heard Hillary would nominate him for the Prize (If Ukraine cedes no territory at all), Trump said he might start liking Hillary again. Wait. What? Trump forgives far too easily. When it comes to Hillary, he should have stuck with his 2016 campaign promise to ‘lock her up.’ When he didn’t, she and corrupt people in our security agencies went ahead and invented the Russia conspiracy theory to use against him, and it cost taxpayers nearly $50 million. Bill and Hillary consider themselves above the law while leaving a trail of bodies in their sociopathic quest for power. Bill is a rapist and was a frequent Epstein Island visitor. Hillary is a traitor, thief, and colossal liar. No, Trump should never like Hillary again. She deserves prison. Trump’s nice guy and forgiving demeanor will likely be used against him—not just by Hillary but also by Putin. Trump needs to make sure the US is not drawn into wider conflict with Russia once he discovers Putin has been stringing him along. We should stay out of it and let Europe handle it. The World in the balance Cartoon published 07/29/2025 President Trump said he was losing patience with Russia’s reluctance to pursue peace. Instead, Putin has ramped up his attacks. He wants unilateral victory over Ukraine. He wants all of Ukraine, not just part of it. If Putin refuses to agree to a cease fire within 10 or 12 days, then Trump will implement stricter sanctions and tariffs against his country. Russian officials scoffed with contempt at this, so it’s unlikely they will capitulate. This probably means more arms, more money, and more lives spent in Ukraine, and even the possibility that WWIII will be triggered. All of this because NATO and war-mongers in the US State Department wanted to annex Ukraine and expedite ‘regime change’ in Moscow. They wanted Russia folded into the globalist banker hegemony. Instead, they became part of BRICS and are working on their own currency, which would challenge the dollar’s hegemony. Russia warned Trump’s ultimatum could provoke war and compared his actions to something “Sleepy Joe” might do. Peace now seems a forlorn hope.
