Shall We Have an InPHInet Talk Show?

    Shall we have a radio talk show? I know we have the talent and interesting chat here.

    A Horse with No Name and I experimented with an experimental "Breakfast with Gary and Rose" show at the "Agora" forum (What remained from the ashes of Atticus1). This first program has been locked away in an obscure YouTube vault for years. I had literally no friends at Agora and we both were just experimenting with radio as a lark to stir something up from the dreariness there. I feel we will have plenty of experience and interesting personalities here at InPHInet for a great talk show when the time arrives.

    This was our first attempt in August of 2013 with no preparation. What brought this show to my mind was the Kennedy videos posted in 48 Laws - The Polls CONCEAL YOUR INTENTIONS today. In part two of this program, A Horse With No Name recounts his experience of watching the plane carrying JFK and Jackie arrive at Love Field airport immediately prior to his assassination in Dallas. So, a story told from his rememberances as a child.

    By posting this here, I am hoping to spark some enthusiasm for a future InPHInet radio program? We could experiment among ourselves until something gels. Couldn't we?

    Wait! I just discovered there is a Part 3 too. To delve into Kennedy Conspiracies Horse has arrived at. lol.

    Thank you, Phil. I appreciate knowing your point of view.

    What I have been thinking, and it may be wrong, is that these "topic of the moment" discussions should just be broadcast a few times and not be preserved in easily copyable media for an extended period of time. But, you may easily be absolutely right.

    I suppose the goal, then, would be to move toward more substantial topics. Step one: To find others interested in participating. Step Two, to build a rapport with each other and work out tech issues. Step three: Inviting guest participation.

    I would be very interested in hearing about your experiences with the shows you and Jamie did. And, if there are podcasts available, I, for one, would love to hear them.

    For me, I'd never be able to listen to live broadcast radio. Life just isn't convenient enough for me to be available at a set time for a broadcast (which is why I'm loving Hulu and Netflix for TV) I'd probably listen if it was saved off as a podcast though.
