Definitely.
This is off the actual topic, but I will mention it because of the coincidence: I happened to be reading references to Manson in a round about way just last night. I was watching an old Jean Harow movie on TCM to relax. The introduction to the movie "Reckless" included some facts about a mystery involving Harlow I did not know. Her husband, Paul Bern, actor and MGM Supervisor was reportedly shot, a suicide, with possible studio cover ups for Harlow? Bern's prior common law wife, who might have been there at the time of his shooting along with a strange woman's bathing suit and two glasses by the pool, apparently jumped off a riverboat and drowned the next day. The story has so many strange twists and turns, I could not help musing about what really happened last night. What a last line for a suicide note:
“You understand that last night was only a comedy.”

If you read that story, you will notice that Jay Sebring, Sharon Tate's boyfriend who was killed with her, owned and was living in Harlow's nearby home where the Bern "suicide" occurred. Prior to murders, she spent the night in Harlow's house with Jay and saw an apparition of Paul Bern walking around and a vision of Jay Sebring tied to the staircase with his throat slit
just as was soon to occur.

"In 1966, Sharon was spending the night alone at Jay’s house, sleeping in his master bedroom. She later recounted to several friends how she was suddenly awoken by an apparition of “a creepy little man” who was walking through the bedroom. Startled, Sharon bolted out of bed and ran down the stairs where she saw another apparition, this one a dead body tied to the staircase banisters – the corpse’s throat was slit. Sharon later said that she believed that the the first apparition in the bedroom was the ghost of Paul Bern."
