Several liberal states immediately sued the Trump administration, mistakenly arguing that the administration had acted arbitrarily when it added the citizenship question back into the survey. The case now awaits its fate in the Supreme Court. But that isn’t stopping the Democratic-led House Oversight Committee from calling Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to testify about the administration’s decision on Thursday.

Such a hearing is designed to interfere with the ongoing Supreme Court case. The inappropriateness of this is not a partisan issue. Even President Bill Clinton’s assistant attorney general, Robert Raben, warned that holding a Congressional hearing in the midst of litigation creates the risk that the court will be swayed by undue political and Congressional influence.

All of this begs the question: Why wouldn’t we want to know how many American citizens live in America?

BLUE CITY BLUES

Many liberal-run cities on the west coast are becoming centers of squalor.

It’s gotten so bad in some areas that it rivals some of the worst third-world cities. Open drug use takes place on the streets, where discarded drug needles abound. Human feces must be stepped around. Homeless and aggressive panhandlers harass citizens for handouts. Car burglaries have become commonplace.

Millions of dollars are thrown at the homeless problem and it only gets worse. Free money given to them by the tax payers is wasted on drugs. The cities are sanctuaries for hordes of illegal aliens, who are here to get free stuff and scoff at the law. The socialists promise utopia, but instead they turn clean, prosperous cities into hell holes.

The progressives are making progress, though. Plastic straws have now been banned in many urban areas.

AND “LYING RAT” FINISHES OUT OF THE MONEY

Yesterday Michael Cohen admitted he was coached by notorious Trump-hater Adam “Shifty” Schiff for his hearing in front of Congress.

The Democrats held this show hearing while our President was in North Korea negotiating for nuclear disarmament. They were trying to distract from the historic summit with Kim Jung-un in Vietnam.

Cohen, a convicted felon for lying to congress, testified in front of the Democrat House for the sole objective of keeping the failed Russian Collusion narrative going.

Cohen lied again and again. Expect this list to grow.

• Cohen addicted to lobbying as a foreign agent for Kazakhstan despite failing to register as one.
• Cohen told Congress he never defrauded a bank despite pleading guilty to bank fraud.
• Cohen denied having a desire to work at the White House after Trump was elected. Even CNN admitted Cohen lied, noting it was well known that Cohen did indeed want to work at the White House.
• Cohen stated he had never been to Prague, which contradicts the infamous Steele Dossier. Either Cohen is lying, or the Steele Dossier fabricated the claim Cohen traveled to Prague.
• Cohen lied to the IRS.
• Cohen has been disbarred.

The Democrats think we will believe a confirmed lying Rat that attacks the President?

Not on your life.
