Music - Let It All Out!

One of our original songs recorded at the cottage here 45 years ago.
It was recorded live in one take in the living room with no editing.
That's Stitch, Rose's first husband in the striped pants.
I am standing next to him.
I'm lead vocal and drums.
Stitch is beginning banter, high harmony and bass.
Listening does bring a tear at times.

As threads go I love music. Who doesn't? A little old history. I spent 10 years pursuing a music career. Gave it up when I lost my voice only to end up having an operation on my vocal cords. Did you know whispering is harder on the vocal cords than talking? I didn't either until I had the operation.

But I sill play guitar. I started out on violin but at the time I was more interested in the guitar which I didn't get until I was a late teen. So I studied violin and music for a long time. It's really math in a great sense. But a whole lot better! I spent about ten years on the road in various bands and even on a circuit where I was alone and just sang my own music charts.

Anyhow afterward I went back to school and got into a business career, but I had the pleasure of running into some pretty cool musicians. One thing leads to another and somehow so did my kids. One of the upcoming local bands made it big. We used to see them in the clubs all the time then off they went to stardom. Well the band split up... But some legends never die!

Both my late son and my youngest son had the pleasure to do lighting for this video for Mativision in Barefoot studio which was home to many great pieces from the past. I think it may be gone now....but never forgotten.

Any how here's a photo op of my youngest with a pretty cool guitar collection behind them and the video that accompanies this photo. I don't think I need to mention the guitar player eh?

Just because...My son toured with these guys a year ago. Traveled all over the place and had a blast. It got is head out of that funk of losing his brother....I like em!
