Horowitz Testimony Rosenstein Hid Strozk's "Stop Trump" Text
​

 

Also standing out like a sore thumb: Horowitz testified about the fact that text messages originally released by the DOJ had the most damning (smoking gun?) Strozk/Page line "No, no he won't. We will stop it." removed. Horowtz was questioned regarding the chain of command for releasing the batch of texts. They ultimately ended up in Rosenstein's hands and were released by him. There was some obfuscation about the occurrence due to Horowitz testifying he located some of the replies later than original messages with investigative work. But, if I understand correctly all texts were intact when submitted to Rosenstein.

 

Gowdy's Opening Statement

Later in the hearing, Mr Horowitz explained there was no bias in the final conclusion decided by Page, Strozk and maybe 20 people handling the Clinton "matter". I don't think he will conclude the same finding of no bias in the FISA Abuse/Russia Investigation IG report 2.0. ​
