In Their Own Words: Creating An Official Record of the Trump Presidency—Doug Wead 3:36 - (4:44) “When historians come back to this time, they are going to be looking for primary sources. They’re not going to be interested in hearsay.” 53.16 – 53.30, 53:55 Doug Wead’s big hope on his book: First I’d like to live… Truth on paper.
Sort of like having "the Godfather" in your family handling the affairs of your country, Trump is so exceptional. Can you imagine Elizabeth Warren or Joe Biden holding their own at G7? Could you trust them to handle your interests on the world stage, or anywhere? They would get steamrollered just like Obama did.
One of the qualities about Trump that stood out to me in the above article is that he recalled three of Paula White-Cain's sermons, verbatim. Newt Gingrich has called Trump a "listener". This little detail seems to support Gingrich's observation. In another place I read that he wants the answers to only 3 questions when he is meeting foreign dignitaries. The questions are all business type questions regarding the trade deals that the US has with country. Later, he wanted a fourth piece of information after he had egg on his face from a question a reporter asked him. He then wanted to know if the person who he was meeting with had talked sh*t about him. Just a head's up, so he wouldn't be caught off guard in the press. This let me know that Trump is not an ideologue. He's not interested in the internal affairs of other countries, but is primarily focused on the business/trade relationship between the US and them. I tried looking for the article I read that spoke about this, but I can't find it.
I came across this article the other day which gave me a little bit of insight about President Trump that I haven't seen before: Paula White-Cain: Donald Trump’s Spiritual Adviser on Faith, Policy, and the President
